Fundraiser items are in! They will be available to pick up in the GJM Cafe until 5:00 p.m. today and then from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Front pick up only- it just started to really rain!
No Latchkey on Monday due to City Holiday. We will have school!
Stay tuned...pumpkin contest winners will be announced tomorrow!
Front only dismissal today. The rain has been too sporadic to count on a dry dismissal in the back. Please drive safely!
As of right now (3:03) we are planning to have back gate open at dismissal (3:20) but if the weather turns we may have to be front only. The showers have been very off and on the last hour or so. Thank you for your understanding.
GJM Families, we had our monthly fire drill and just as we went outside the skies opened up! The students and staff did an amazing job of getting out and in safely under the circumstances! Everyone is back in routine and drying off, but we wanted to make sure you are aware of what happened.
Just a reminder that Progress Reports will go home tomorrow (and it's Pickle and Popcorn day!)
Back gate reminder: We always try to have the back gate open to help with traffic, but if it is actively raining, thunder/lightening, or other safety risk it will be a front of school dismissal only. Thanks for your patience yesterday with that sudden weather turn at dismissal!
Happy Friday! It's a 3-day weekend, so we will see everyone back at school on Tuesday, September 3! Please remember that starting Tuesday you will have to show ID and sign in through Raptor if you want to walk your child to class in the morning. Thanks for your support!
Breakfast (served in the classroom) and lunch (served in the Cafe) are free again to all students this year!
We are excited for the first day of school tomorrow! Families can wait with students in the Cafe (3rd & 4th) and Gym (2nd) until 7:30 a.m. then may walk back to classrooms. Please follow police & teacher directions at drop off & pick up, be patient, and let's have a great year!
Reminder: GJM Meet the Teacher is 8/14 5:30-6:30 p.m. You are welcome to bring your school supplies! Staff will help you find your homeroom, just look for a friendly face with a balloon. If registration isn't complete, we will be available to help in the office and computer lab.
