Lemonade Day
We are happy to announce that Ingleside ISD and the Cities of Ingleside and Ingleside on the Bay are partnering with our Coastal Bend Lemonade Day Program. This is not an Ingleside ISD program so it is open to all elementary-aged students in the Ingleside community, including students from Ingleside Primary School, GJ Mircovich Elementary, and other local schools. Ingleside ISD is helping by providing a facilitator to help students that are in need. Students may complete the Lemonade Day modules independently from home using a device or they may attend any of the optional facilitated sessions for extra support and guidance from Mrs. Tracey Moya. Facilitated sessions will be held at Ingleside Primary School from 12:30–1:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday, June 8–11 and June 15–18.

Tentative Facilitated Module Schedule:
• June 8–9: Module 1 – Become an Entrepreneur
• June 10–11: Module 2 – Make a Plan
• June 15–16: Module 3 – Work the Plan
• June 17–18: Module 4 – Achieve Your Dreams

Each module is expected to take approximately two days to complete. Students are welcome to attend any sessions that best meet their needs, and participation in the facilitated lessons is completely optional. Mrs. Moya will be available throughout the scheduled module facilitation to provide guidance and support as needed.

Lemonade Day Event
After completing the program, students will have the opportunity to put their entrepreneurial skills into action on Lemonade Day, Saturday, July 11. Participants will create and operate their own lemonade stand or small business (the product does not have to be lemonade) applying the lessons they have learned about goal setting, budgeting, marketing, customer service, and leadership. Students may choose to run a stand at home, partner with a local business, or participate at another approved location. Lemonade Day is designed to be a fun, hands-on experience that allows young entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity, build confidence, and experience what it takes to run a business.

Dear GJM Families,

Due to campus benchmark testing taking place the week of January 26–30, we will not be able to accommodate lunch visitors during this time. This helps us maintain a quiet, secure testing environment for all students.

Lunch visitors will be welcome again beginning the following week. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our students.

GJM Elementary will be conducting our spring semester lockdown drill today as per state law. THIS IS ONLY A DRILL. During this drill you may notice an increased law enforcement presence at the campus. This is normal procedure as local and county officials also help us to prepare. We are all committed to having a safe and secure Ingleside ISD. Thank You.
