Student Holiday -- September 28th

Good afternoon Ingleside staff, families and students. We hope you’re enjoying your weekend. We’d like to take a moment to communicate a few things regarding Tropical Storm Beta that is currently in the Gulf of Mexico. We understand that this storm has the potential to bring significant rain to our area as early as Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. We want to make sure you all know that we are watching closely as it develops and will keep you posted on any changes, if any, regarding our school schedule next week. Currently, there are no changes. Should we need to provide guidance, please stay tuned to our Social Media sites and emails.

GJM Elementary has begun library book check outs. Students, or parents, must complete the form below in order to check out books. GJM will be participating in Start with Hello Week from September 21-25! There will be activities throughout the week to increase social inclusion in our school community to make sure no one is left out and everyone has a friend. Monday – Kickoff the week with a presentation Tuesday – Wear Green to promote kindness and inclusion Wednesday – Practice giving compliments, everyone needs a smile Thursday – Sticky Note Affirmation Wall – Students will write affirmations for our Make One and Take One wall Friday – Random Act of Kindness Day – students are encouraged to be kind in small and big ways

Due to the early release schedule on Friday, September 18th, Curbside Meal pick-up will be available for all currently enrolled IISD students from 10:00-11:00AM.

Hello Mustangs! Friday, September 18th will be an early release day for all IISD campuses as our football team will be headed to Carrizo Springs. Early Release times: IPS & GJM: 12:30 PM BSE, LTJH & IHS: 1:00pm **Buses will be running for those that ride the bus.**
