Our Student Council is supporting a canned food drive this week. Thank you for any assistance, and we hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break!
PTO reports our fundraising goodies should be in on or before December 6. There were apparently delays in shipping from the vendor due to wildfires in CA. We will let you know pick up times and location as soon as the items arrive.
Reminder that Spirit Sticks for 2nd 6 weeks will be given out during PE this Friday. Please see calendar for times if you would like to attend.
Front pick up only- it just started to really rain!
No Latchkey on Monday due to City Holiday. We will have school!
We are working hard to incorporate more hands on science. Students in Mrs. Belaire's class enjoyed a lab on testing the effect of force on an object this week!
Reminders: Veterans Day program on Monday (if it rains we will still have inside) and Thanksgiving Meal next Thursday. Hope to see you!
PTO wants to remind you, pickles and popcorn for $1 each tomorrow, and every Thursday!
Thank you Mrs. Camp for organizing a letter drive to send student letters to this unit. That's the GJM Way!
Stay tuned...pumpkin contest winners will be announced tomorrow!
4th Grade Ag in the Classroom field trip this week was a success!
Front only dismissal today. The rain has been too sporadic to count on a dry dismissal in the back. Please drive safely!
As of right now (3:03) we are planning to have back gate open at dismissal (3:20) but if the weather turns we may have to be front only. The showers have been very off and on the last hour or so. Thank you for your understanding.
GJM Families, we had our monthly fire drill and just as we went outside the skies opened up! The students and staff did an amazing job of getting out and in safely under the circumstances! Everyone is back in routine and drying off, but we wanted to make sure you are aware of what happened.
Our Red Ribbon theme for today is "Don't Fall for Drugs," so Ingleside PD came out to help us with a friendly game of Tug of War during PE classes!
We look ready for Red Ribbon Week, thanks to Mrs. Rodriguez's art class! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
GJM will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week October 21-25. Each day of Red Ribbon Week we are reinforcing living a healthy, drug free lifestyle. GJM is Sending a Message to Stay Drug Free and would like to invite your family to participate at home during Red Ribbon week.
Flashlight Friday keeps reading fun in Mrs. Ramsey's class! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
