Next week our Fall fundraiser kicks off! Students will have information in their Tuesday Take Home folder. Hopefully you will find some items that help with upcoming holiday shopping while at the same time supporting your school PTO! The fundraiser will be open until 9/23.
We are ready for Grandparents Breakfast! Monday 2nd grade hosts, Tuesday 3rd grade, and Wednesday 4th grade (7:00-7:45am in the Cafe each day.) Thanks to our PTO for decorating!
Back gate reminder: We always try to have the back gate open to help with traffic, but if it is actively raining, thunder/lightening, or other safety risk it will be a front of school dismissal only. Thanks for your patience yesterday with that sudden weather turn at dismissal!

Breakfast (served in the classroom) and lunch (served in the Cafe) are free again to all students this year!
We are excited for the first day of school tomorrow! Families can wait with students in the Cafe (3rd & 4th) and Gym (2nd) until 7:30 a.m. then may walk back to classrooms. Please follow police & teacher directions at drop off & pick up, be patient, and let's have a great year!
We had a great turnout at GJM's Meet the Teacher night! Thanks to all who were able to attend, and we look forward to seeing everyone Monday morning! Drop off can begin after 7:00 a.m. (students wait in Cafe/gym), 1st bell 7:45 a.m. and tardy bell 7:55 a.m. Dismissal 3:20 p.m.
Staff from IPS, GJM and BSE enjoyed spending time today with Doug Curry learning about Llama behavior management strategies. We are ready to start the year as fast llamas!
Reminder: GJM Meet the Teacher is 8/14 5:30-6:30 p.m. You are welcome to bring your school supplies! Staff will help you find your homeroom, just look for a friendly face with a balloon. If registration isn't complete, we will be available to help in the office and computer lab.
